Animar for Schools - The Animar's Films on Cinema

Starting from March 8th 2025, the 20th edition of ANIMAR will feature a program focused on Portuguese animated short films. The event will include an exhibition, guided tours, and themed workshops at Solar - Cinematic Art Gallery. Additionally, there will be film screenings at the Vila de Conde Municipal Theatre and Auditorium, as well as activities extended to schools in the region. Various cinema sessions have been organized for schools, targeting students of different age groups.

Program

These cinema sessions aimed to offer not just an entertaining experience but also an educational one through the medium of film. They introduced fresh cinematographic styles, presented new challenges, and encouraged thoughtful reflections.

Screenings are conducted by appointment only. You have the option to either bring the cinema experience to the schools or invite them to the Municipal Theatre for a full cinematic experience. Screening times will be arranged based on availability.
