Celebrating the 20th edition of Animar, the Curtas Metragens C. R. L. Education Service is preparing to bring Portuguese Animation to schools in the northern region.
Program
Starting from March 8th 2025, the 20th edition of ANIMAR will feature a program focused on Portuguese animated short films. The event will include an exhibition, guided tours, and themed workshops at Solar - Cinematic Art Gallery. Additionally, there will be film screenings at the Vila de Conde Municipal Theatre and Auditorium, as well as activities extended to schools in the region. Various cinema sessions have been organized for schools, targeting students of different age groups.
The ANIMAR project, promoted by Solar - Cinematic Art Gallery and supported by Curtas Metragens C. R. L. Educational Service, introduces new tools, means, and methodologies to facilitate learning through participatory experiences. This initiative aims to raise awareness about art, decode images, and mobilize comprehensive knowledge, stimulating imagination through the principle of learning through play.
For workshops and film screenings at schools in other municipalities, the cost of travelling is extra. Teachers can take part in these activities free of charge.
