Starting from 16th February 2025, the 20th edition of ANIMAR will feature a program focused on Portuguese Short Films. The event will include an exhibition, guided tours, and themed workshops at Solar - Cinematic Art Gallery. Additionally, there will be film screenings at the Vila de Conde Municipal Theatre and Auditorium, as well as activities extended to schools in the region. Various cinema sessions have been organized for schools, targeting students of different age groups.

The ANIMAR project, promoted by Solar - Cinematic Art Gallery and supported by Animar - Educational Service da Curtas Metragens CRL, introduces new tools, means, and methodologies to facilitate learning through participatory experiences. This initiative aims to raise awareness about art, decode images, and mobilize comprehensive knowledge, stimulating imagination through the principle of learning through play.
