At the Solar – Cinematic Art Gallery, much of the educational programming offered by the Education Service unfolds. This includes guided tours, animation workshops, and outdoor cinema screenings. Visits can be tailored to suit various educational levels, ranging from pre-school to higher education, all by prior appointment.
Program
Starting March 8, the 20th edition of ANIMAR will kick off, featuring a program dedicated to short films. This includes an exhibition, guided tours, and themed workshops at Solar – Cinematic Art Gallery, along with various activities that will take place at the Vila de Conde Municipal Theatre and Auditorium as well as in local schools. Special cinema sessions have been organized for students of different age groups.
ANIMAR, which is promoted by Solar and the Curtas Metragens C. R. L. Education Service, introduces innovative tools and methodologies that encourage learning through participatory experiences. This initiative aims to raise awareness of art, help decode visual imagery, and foster a cross-disciplinary knowledge base, all while sparking the imagination through the engaging concept of learning by playing.
