Program
The Curtinhas program features the most energetic and entertaining films of the Curtas Vila do Conde festival. Three competitions for three different age groups — M/3, M/6, M/9. In 2025, this program brings us multiple stories and emotions, telling us about adventures, friendship, nature, and much more.

Cleo seeks refuge from a hostile school environment in a glitter ball fantasy make believe world … and the boys’ toilets. Little does she know that someone else is hiding there too.
Reven, a ten-year old, was born with her head tilted downward. When her teacher questions her abilities to adapt with others, she decides to prove them wrong with a class where she'll stand straight as much as her classmates.
A weasel, whose absurd job is selling ties, roams the countryside. Considered a pest and constantly wandering, she decides to take a chance in the forest. Her fate is about to change, thanks to the unconditional help of a hedgehog.

Curtas Metragens - Cooperativa de Produção Cultural C.R.L. was founded in 1997 and is based in Vila do Conde.
It is active in various projects (Curtas Vila do Conde – International Film Festival, Agência – Portuguese Short Film Agency, Solar – Cinematic Art Gallery, Curtas – Educational Service). It began producing cinematographic works in 2002, namely with the coproduction of four short films, developed as part of the 10th edition of Curtas Vila do Conde.
Curtas' Educational Service presents itself as a set of actions aimed at school audiences that infers education through the moving image, encouraging new ways of seeing and training students and teachers.
