In a long take, we follow the reality of a social housing neighbourhood in Mexico City. Burdened by debts to the mafia, the merchants in the area receive a threat.
Joséphine is a 15-year-old girl who lives with her mother and siblings in a kind of campsite that has been converted into a home. The family's routine is marked by difficulties and the absence of maternal care. When social services request Joséphine's testimony against her own mother, she finds herself torn between a sense of loyalty and the desire to change her reality and that of her siblings. It is at this moment that Elsa appears, a teenager from the same place, whose friendship provides her with the opportunity to feel like just a girl of her own age.
A story in which the Stone of Destiny is not just a plot device or MacGuffin, but the main character. In this case, the Stone of Destiny wants to discover its own, well, destiny. A musical about finding one’s way.

Curtas Metragens - Cooperativa de Produção Cultural C.R.L. was founded in 1997 and is based in Vila do Conde.
It is active in various projects (Curtas Vila do Conde – International Film Festival, Agência – Portuguese Short Film Agency, Solar – Cinematic Art Gallery, Curtas – Educational Service). It began producing cinematographic works in 2002, namely with the coproduction of four short films, developed as part of the 10th edition of Curtas Vila do Conde.
Curtas' Educational Service presents itself as a set of actions aimed at school audiences that infers education through the moving image, encouraging new ways of seeing and training students and teachers.
