Curtinhas is a mini-festival within Curtas Vila do Conde, which is an extension of ANIMAR project, designed for children and youth audiences and families.

It consists of a program beyond the film competition with sessions for ages 3, 6 and 10, and includes a children's area and several workshops.

In 2023, as part of the 31st edition of Curtas Vila do Conde, Curtinhas will take place from July 8th to 16th.
