Curtinhas is a mini-festival within the Curtas Vila do Conde – International Film Festival, which is an extension of the Animar program. The program is organized annually by Solar – Cinematic Art Gallery and our Education Service, with a focus on children and families.

The Curtinhas program features competitions in three age groups - M/3, M/6, M/9. The winners are selected by a discerning and thoughtful jury consisting of 10 children aged between 8 and 12.

In 2025, Curtinhas will be a part of the 3rd Turma Curtas - Cinema for Schools, an exclusive program for school communities. This program is scheduled to run from November 11st to 21st.
