Curtinhas is a mini-festival within Curtas Vila do Conde - which is an extension of the ANIMAR programme, promoted annually by Solar — Cinematic Art Gallery and the Curtas Metragens CRL Educational Service - designed for children and families.

The Curtinhas programme includes competitions in three age groups - M/3, M/6, M/9 - whose winners are chosen by an attentive and demanding jury made up of a group of 10 children aged between 8 and 12.

In 2024, Curtinhas will be part of TURMA CURTAS - 2nd School Film Festival, a special programme exclusively for school communities, which took place from 16 to 20 May.
