The short film Moon Mole was awarded at Portuguese National Animation Award 2022, promoted by Casa da Animação, as Best Film in the Workshops category.

'Moon Mole' was developed in the context of a chalk and engraving animation workshop, carried out by 12th year students at Escola Secundária José Régio, in Vila do Conde.

The workshop, guided by directors Alexandra Ramires, Dimitri Mihajlovic, Laura Gonçalves and Leonor Pacheco, took place within the scope of the ANIMAR 17 project, which proposes new tools, means and methodologies that introduce the principle of learning through a participated experience. This project is part of the programming of Solar – Cinematic Gallery Art, being promoted by Curtas Metragens CRL, with the support of the Directorate-General for the Arts.

'Moon Mole' It is also part of the programming of the European network Short Circuit, being shown in several countries, as part of the initiative The Short Film Day (O Dia Mais Curto).
