The awards ceremony took place at the Teatro Municipal de Vila do Conde on Saturday, July 19, 2025, where the winners of the festival’s various competitions were announced, including the film distinguished in the My Generation section.

Running from July 12th to 20th, this section invited audiences to watch and vote for their favorite film, ultimately granting the award to “Home Sweet Home.” Defined by its participatory and educational nature, My Generation stands out for engaging secondary school and university students from the region in the curation, jury, and design of the program.

Throughout its 33rd edition, Curtas Vila do Conde reaffirmed its role as a cultural and cinematic hub, featuring national and international premieres, talks with filmmakers, masterclasses, and workshops for audiences of all ages.
