CineMar - 3rd Showcase of Portuguese Cinema Related to the Sea, organised by Break the Anchor from September 25th to 30th, presents a series of films related to the sea in Portugal and the United States.

In addition to documentary and fiction films, this year's programme includes several animated film sessions, including short films made by primary and secondary school students.

Set in the sea, they address the themes of labour and the role of women and also raise various environmental issues in which the sea is a place of imagination, questioning and space for action, thus providing a reflection on the urgency of change.
